Awards are an inexpensive investment in our patrols and patrollers. Recognition of contributions is a core NSP principle — and it should be easy to update when national requirements change.

Northern Division awards
Division
Recognizes an instructor who models excellence in teaching, mentoring, and program quality across Northern Division courses.
Instructors in any NSP discipline who have made a lasting mark on students and fellow instructors.

Patrollers early in their NSP career who punch above their years of service.

Named for the father of Outdoor Emergency Care. Awarded to an OEC instructor who sets the standard for patient care education.

The National Appointment (National Number) is one of NSP’s highest honors, recognizing long-term distinguished service to the organization.
