Senior program

The Senior program is changing how it is delivered. This page is the division’s home for requirements, scenarios, and evaluation dates.

Senior is the next step after a solid season (or several) as a competent patroller. Candidates demonstrate advanced toboggan handling, outdoor emergency care, and leadership on the hill.

Northern Division runs prep clinics and alpine evaluations each winter. Check the calendar for the current season’s host mountain — events are color-coded so you can see at a glance where you need to be.
